// ENROLLMENT

Unlike other teen therapeutic programs that treat a broad range of behavior issues, STAR Guides Wilderness provides a specialized therapeutic setting that allows for the process of difficult sexual behavior problems to occur. Because of the sensitive and personal nature of these issues, a traditional therapeutic setting is simply not equipped to treat these issues.
When parents decide to enroll their son at STAR Guides, the process can be completed in few easy steps. To shorten the enrollment process down to 24 hours, parents can speak to an admissions team member for pre-qualification. If there is concern or need for a faster enrollment process, contact us and we will do our best to work with the situation. Below are the key steps of the process to getting your child enrolled at STAR Guides.
HOW IT WORKS
The Enrollment Process Simplified
The first step in the enrollment process is to contact our admissions team direct by calling 800-584-4629. Our admissions team will provide the initial assessment to assure STAR Guides is a good fit for your needs.
01 // Admissions
02 // Complete Application Forms
After speaking to a member of our admissions team, the next step is to fill out the APPLICATION on the parent portal. Click the button below to get started. Parents or guardians will be asked to create a username and password for this step. This portal is where you can access Information, as this user name and password will eventually be your log-in to your “parent portal” once your child is at STAR Guides. It's recommended to create easy-to-remember login information and avoid being locked out of the portal.
03 // Application Review
Once the application has been received it will be sent for review. A member of our admissions team will reach out to you to discuss next-steps. This happens within 24 hours of application.
04 // Finalize & Prepare for STAR Guides
-
Available dates: Star Guides operates year round and will work to coordinate your timeline needs with availability.
-
Enrollment documents: All of the appropriate documents will come to you via secure portal transmissions and Docusign.
-
Transportation: Safety is our primary concern at this very vulnerable transition. If your child is unwilling or there are safety risk factors that need to be considered, please speak with your Admissions Counselor for Adolescent Transport Service recommendations.
